STEVE'S VISION FOR
PUBLIC SAFETY
Ensuring Wake County’s Emergency Services Are Always Ready
When you dial 9-1-1, you expect help to arrive quickly. Whether it’s a medical emergency, motor vehicle accident, or another crisis, EMS should get there quickly when you need them most.
While our County Commissioners have made great strides in improving our EMS system, Wake County’s rapid growth and increasing demand for services continue to strain the department. Response times are critical, and ensuring our emergency services are prepared to meet our growing needs is essential.
The most important responsibility of an elected official is ensuring public safety—making sure every resident has access to vital emergency services. As your next County Commissioner, I am committed to:
-
Expanding EMS staffing to reduce response times.
-
Enhancing training programs for first responders.
-
Investing in state-of-the-art equipment to improve care.
Wake County is growing, and our services must grow with it. By prioritizing these investments, we can ensure no one is left waiting in a time of need.
I will work alongside current Commissioners, county staff, and first responders to keep our EMS system strong and prepared. When you need help, you can trust that it’s on the way—and I’ll make sure of it.
Let’s build a safer, stronger Wake County where no call for help goes unanswered.
